Pool Overhaul

This neglected outdoor space needed an overhaul!  A professional pool company was hired to drain and clean the pool; once complete, stacked pavers were added to the edge of the flowerbeds and uplighting installed on all 12 palm trees… what a great space for summer night parties!

Curb Appeal

It doesn’t take much to make a world of difference… the railings and gingerbread trim aged this home and the landscaping left a lot to be desired, so we removed the railings and trim and added four much more substantial columns to open up the space on the front porch and make it feel more welcoming.  We stained the front door black and painted the shutters on the house to match for a more classic look and added some palms and flowering plants to the landscape.  Stacked stone flower beds were created and the brick walkway was expanded near the porch to house a seating area on either side of the entryway.  Small changes like these make the home feel updated as well as more welcoming… there’s a lot you can do with even the smallest of budgets!

Petit Porch

How do you spruce up a space with little to no money?  Paint of course!  We tore out the faux grass carpet and painted the porch with a neutral concrete paint that is made for high traffic areas.  We painted the front door a classic black and installed matching shutters to each window on the front of the house (another way to save money), replaced the old front porch light with a new one and Voilà!

I also splurged on some beautiful satin nickel accents for the front door… if you’re going to splurge, it’s nice to do it where everyone will see!  The new kickplate, knocker, and door knob really add that extra special something don’t ya think?

Backyard Battle

When you have a backyard that looks like this, all you have to do is clean it up!  Overgrown bushes were cut back or taken out, flowering bushes were planted in their places, grass seed was thrown over the entire lawn and from then on out, it’s just maintenance!
